What's that you say? Rover, Fluffy or Spot is gone, but you can't bear to part with them? Some pet lovers turn to taxidermy, getting their faithful companion freeze-dried so they can remember their warm and cuddly compadre by keeping their stiff little corpse around the house forever. You laugh, but it's a real thing. KLRT reports that Xtreme Taxidermy in Romance, a full-service sporting taxidermy shop — which also happens to specialize in turning dead pets into something more resembling furniture — is getting their own reality show on Animal Planet.
