Patti Labelle to Statehouse Convention Center

Younger readers: call your moms!

One of the great voices of Philly soul and "quiet storm" jams—not to mention one of the longest-lasting divas in R&B music—Patti Labelle will bring her Vegas revue to Statehouse Convention Center on March 17.

Expect the big ones like "On My Own", "If You Only Knew" and "New Attitude," a killer song that just gave me a serious Proustian jolt just now.

Tickets on sale now.

But seriously, call your mom. Patti Labelle and James Taylor within two weeks of each other is going to be a lot for her.

Update: Patti Labelle and Big Daddy Kane did a track together?!
