Ham for the holidays

Posted By on Thu, Apr 7, 2011 at 12:15 PM

If there's anything I lament about my life, it's my allergy to pork. I've managed to make things work somehow or another, covering the food in this state with what some could consider to be a career-damaging allergy.

Thing is, though I can't have ham for Easter, you can. And I'd suggest you try one of Petit Jean Meat's hams. I can remember how good they are (I haven't always been allergic, just as an adult). To further this suggestion, you can go over to Tie Dye Travels and enter to win one of those luscious hams. Deal?

  • Cats and dogs

I've always been leery of people who dislike animals. To my wife and me, a house without dog hair in the corners and a cat perched on the windowsill is as barren as a highway rest stop. We're down to three dogs and two cats, the smallest menagerie we've had for years.
