Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen fight for their right to party

Thank you, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen. I was really hoping for any tenuous Arkansas connection to justify posting this here. It's the trailer for the long-awaited, half-hour "remake" of Beastie Boys' "Fight For Your Right" video, directed by Mr. Kathleen Hanna himself, Adam Horovitz (Ad-Rock, the doo-doo rhymer).

The cast? Just about every famous person that doesn't suck: Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Rashida Jones, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler Rainn Wilson, Shannyn Sossamon, Steve Buscemi, Alicia Silverstone, Laura Dern, Jason Schwartzman, Chloe Sevigny, Kirsten Dunst, Maya Rudolph, David Cross, Orlando Bloom, Will Ferrell, Jack Black and John C. Reilly.

It's been making the rounds on the internet today, but it's too amazing not to share here.

Judging from these two minutes, I really can't imagine this not turning out to be the coolest video since "Thriller." Or this crazy thing that happened.

Also, check out "Make Some Noise," the leaked single from "Hot Sauce Committee, Pt. 2," the b-boy godfathers' first proper rap album since 2004.
