Drink smarter (and cheaper)

This Friday, the Times is co-hosting a special Cocktail Compass Peabody RiverTop Party with music by Epiphany and One Night Stand, Ear Fear and Tyrannosaurus Chicken and really great drink specials, including $1 PBR, available for those with Cocktail Compass, our hugely useful (and free!) iPhone app for navigating drinking life in Central Arkansas. The free app allows users to find out things like how long they have before happy hours end or what bars are closest to their current location. Download it here.

Keeping the drinking theme alive, next week we're publishing a print Bar Guide to Central Arkansas. To celebrate, local bars are offering Cocktail Compass specials on Thursday, June 16, where Cocktail Compass users will be able to show bartenders their app and get special discounts.
