Two Rivers Bridge dedication

Posted By on Fri, Jul 1, 2011 at 10:17 AM

Undoubtedly you’ve noticed the construction over the last couple of years of Two Rivers Bridge, which spans the Little Maumelle River, connecting Two Rivers Park with Little Rock’s trail system. The project was built by Jensen Construction, the same company that built the Big Dam Bridge, just on the other side of Interstate 430.

Pulaski County will host a ceremony dedicating the bridge on Friday, July 8 at 11:30 a.m., which will include U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood.

The bridge doesn't officially open to the public until July 23, but it will be open for a couple of hours after the ceremony for a sneak-peek. The ceremony is open to the public, but parking is limited, so carpooling is recommended.
