The Pixies play secondary markets this fall.
  • The Pixies play "secondary markets" this fall.

OK, so the tour isn't stopping anywhere in Arkansas, which is probably a surprise to no one. But hey, what's a couple or three hours on the road for one of your favorite bands performing one of your favorite albums ever?

For the last couple of years, the Pixies have been on a 20th anniversary tour for their 1989 classic "Doolittle." Which, I suppose, would make this the 22nd anniversary tour, but that just doesn't have the same ring to it. I'm still holding out for the 20th anniversary "Trompe Le Monde" tour, which is what really should be happening this year, but whatever.

The Pixies play The Orpheum Theater in Memphis Nov. 14 and Bricktown Events Center in Oklahoma City Nov. 15, for you Pixies fans on the western side of the state.

The rest of the tour dates - "secondary markets" every one, according to the tour press release - are after the jump.

October:

27 - Wellmont Theatre, Montclair, NJ
28 - Asbury Park Convention Hall, Asbury Park, NJ
29 - Palace Theatre, Waterbury, CT
30 - Hampton Beach Ballroom, Hampton Beach, NH

November:

1 - State Theatre, Portland, ME
2 - The Armory, Rochester, NY
3 - State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton, PA
5 - Paramount Theatre, Huntington, NY
6 - Grand Opera House, Wilmington, DE
8 - War Memorial Auditorium, Greensboro, NC
9 - Louisville Palace Theatre, Louisville, KY
10 - Tennessee Theatre, Knoxville, TN
11 - North Charleston Performing Arts Center, North Charleston, SC
14 - Orpheum Theatre, Memphis, TN
15 - Bricktown Events Center, Oklahoma City, OK
16 - Santa Fe Center, Sante Fe, NM
18 - Fox Theatre, Bakersfield, CA
20 - The Uptown Theatre, Napa, CA
21 - Civic Auditorium, Santa Cruz, CA
