Tonight: Charles Portis documentary and "True Grit"

The Arkansas Studies Institute will screen the "Charles Portis: The Greatest Writer You've Never Heard Of..." at 7:30. The 30-minute documentary includes interview with Nora Ephron, Roy Blount Jr. and Oxford American Editor Marc Smirnoff.

After that, mosey on over to Riverfest Amphitheater for Movies in the Park's presentation of the 2010 Coen brothers film "True Grit," based on Portis's 1968 novel.
