  • Pop artist Peter Mars presents "Signs of the King" Tuesday at the Clinton Center's Sturgis Hall.

Pop artist Peter Mars will discuss his work as an official artist for Elvis Presley Enterprises at noon at the Clinton Presidential Center's Sturgis Hall. Mars' work is heavy on celebrities, comic book heroes and other pop-culture icons and draws inspiration from pop artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg and, of course, Andy Warhol.

The lecture is the final in a series called "A Little More Conversation: Elvis Presley," presented in conjunction with the Clinton Center exhibits "Elvis" and "Elvis at 21, Photographs by Alfred Wertheimer."

You can reserve a seat by calling 501-683-5239 or e-mailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu.
