Iron & Wine to UCA in November

Here's some good news for fans of hushed, gently bearded folk-rock: Iron & Wine will play Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas Sunday, Nov. 13.

Nawt bawd, UCA Student Activities Board, nawt bawd.

Student tickets go on sale Oct. 17 and are $15. Tickets for the general public go on sale Oct. 19 and are $25. You can buy them at the Reynolds box office or try going here.

The venue seats about 1,200 and the show starts at 8 p.m. No word on opening acts, but you can safely bet that this time, Iron & Wine probably won't opt for the confrontational anti-comedy stylings of greasy, gurgling throat-clearer and author of scathing consumer culture critiques Neil Hamburger.
