The owners of the Flying Fish seafood restaurant are “working feverishly” to open in Bentonville in time for the Nov. 11 opening of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, its publicist says.

The new Flying Fish will be the second in Arkansas; the original, decorated with hundreds of Billy Bass plaques, is located in the River Market district. The fish serves catfish, shrimp fried and ceviche-style, oysters, salmon, tilapia, gumbo, fish tacos and more. The restaurant will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
A press release on the opening said Alice Walton, founder of Crystal Bridges, has “frequented other Flying Fish locations,” and encouraged restaurateur Shannon Wynne to open a location in Bentonville.
