Tonight in Argenta: V.L. Cox studio opening

V.L. Cox is reopening her studio in Argenta Studios, adjacent to First Presbyterian at 4th and Maple, with a reception from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight. She'll be showing 30 new paintings in the space; painter Doug Gorrell will have his studio open as well. The church also has an exhibit, "Where Was God on 9/11?" Artists in that exhibit are Melverue Abraham, Lisa Bunch, Catherine Wood Burton, Gene Clark, Janet Copeland, Laura Fanning, William Freeman, Gorrell and Marty Kauer; reception is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Those are just two of tonight's 3rd Friday Argenta ArtWalk events; more to follow.
