  • The Apache Relay plays Stickyz tonight.

Does the evening find you yearning for some earnest, roots-y folk rock that is somehow familiar-sounding and has a real The Band-filtered-through-decades-of-indie-rock vibe to it?

Well hoss, you could do a lot worse than The Apache Relay. The Nashville outfit plays Stickyz tonight with the always excellent Adam Faucett & The Tall Grass and the ethereal sounds of This Holy House.

The good times start at 8:30 for $7. The show is 18 and up.

Check out "Achilles Heel" by The Apache Relay after the jump.

You've got to figure that a band from frozen-ass Winnipeg is just gonna be way gnarlier and tougher than a band from some sun-kissed tropical clime where people wear tank tops and flip-flops year-round.
