Tonight: Hellzapoppin Sideshow and Iron Tongue at Revolution

Posted By on Mon, Sep 26, 2011 at 2:28 PM

Its Monday, but dont let it get you down.
  • It's Monday, but don't let it get you down.

So it's Monday. And thanks to all those coffee mugs and T-shirts and posters of sad Ziggy or whatever, everyone knows that Mondays are just the pits.

But hey there muffin, don't let it get you down! Take that frown and turn it into a twisted grimace of terrified, disgusted amazement!

That's right, those screwballs in the Hellzapoppin Sideshow Revue are back in town to freak you right out with with their sword-swallowing and fire-eating and screwdriver-into-the-nose-sticking and broken-glass-walking and other acts of entertainingly grotesque bodily abuse.

Local bitchin'-riff dealers Iron Tongue will get the crowd in the mood for mutilation. The show starts at 9 p.m. and it's $10.

Check out some video of Hellzapoppin after the jump.

You've got to figure that a band from frozen-ass Winnipeg is just gonna be way gnarlier and tougher than a band from some sun-kissed tropical clime where people wear tank tops and flip-flops year-round.
