You'll no doubt remember Cody Belew and his band, The Mercers, from the 2010 Arkansas Times Musicians Showcase, as well as from the many gigs they played over the last few years.

Back in the spring, they picked up and moved on down I-40 a piece, all the way to Nashville. So what better occasion to make a debut in your new hometown than the night before the Hogs take on Vandy? Belew and crew are doing just that Oct. 28 at Nashville's Whiskey Bent Saloon. All you Hog fans who are going to be in Music City for the game should add this show to your itinerary. Doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts and 9 p.m. and the cover is $10. You can also get tickets by calling 615-401-2580.
