"Finer Things" at sUgAR Gallery

The University of Arkansas's student gallery, with the pain-to-type name sUgAR Gallery, opens a juried show of contemporary craft, "Finer Things," on Friday, Nov. 4.

Painting, drawing, textiles, bookmaking, glass and ceramics by students, teachers and independent artists are included in the show, which runs through Dec. 14.

Hours for the gallery, just off the square in Bentonville, are 2-6 p.m. Thu., 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fri.-Sat. and 1-5 p.m. Sun. There will be a catered reception Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. To learn more about the gallery go here.
