Nominate the next Living Treasure

The 2011 Arkansas Living Treasure was ceramicist Winston Taylor. It's time to choose the 2012 Living Treasure, the Arkansas Arts Council has announced, and nominations are due Dec. 2.

The award goes to the state's most distinguished craftsmen who have worked to preserve their craft, such as pottery or weaving or basketry, through teaching it to others. The honoree will be chose by a panel of professionals in the field of traditional crafts.
