HSDFI to screen docs monthly at Malco

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute will begin monthly screenings this weekend at the Historic Malco Theatre.

The Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute will begin monthly screenings at the Historic Malco Theatre starting this weekend. On Friday, HSDFI screens "The Search for Michael Rockefeller" at 5 p.m., "Big in Bollywood" at 5:05 p.m., "Sky Dancer" at 7 p.m. and a shorts program featuring “The Vacuum Kid,” “Unlikely Treasures” and “Stan vs. Squirrel." at 7:05 p.m.

On Saturday, "Happy" and "Death by Medicine" will screen at 3:05 p.m. and "Mississippi Innocence" and "All Me: The Life and Times of Winfred Rembert" at 5 p.m. At 7 p.m., catch some stand-up comedy from Angry Patrick, with Laura Ratliff and Dave DeBeaux.

The films are $5-$7 and the comedy show is $8-$10.
