Little Rock artist Matt Owen's understated, super stylish movie posters have long been one of our favorite things here at the Times. Turns out director Jason Reitman digs them as well. Here he is chatting with Little Rock film critic Renee Shapiro:

"He's brilliant," Reitman says to someone offscreen. "He's spectacular. He's one of the best out there."

Owen's been getting some pretty amazing gigs lately. He made a poster for Reitman's latest film, "Young Adult," which was one of six that was given to attendees at early screenings of the film. He also made posters for the IMAX release of "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol."

His Twitter feed mentions "a fun new project for March."

Wow.

You've got to figure that a band from frozen-ass Winnipeg is just gonna be way gnarlier and tougher than a band from some sun-kissed tropical clime where people wear tank tops and flip-flops year-round.
