Thursday: Bonnie Montgomery, Queen Anne's Revenge, The Salty Dogs

Everyone's favorite barroom songstress and rockabilly queen Bonnie Montgomery plays Maxine's, 8 p.m., free.

Modern prog-rockers Queen Anne's Revenge play Downtown Music Hall, with Embrace the Crash and Indie Bullshit, which has a commanding lead for best band name of the decade, 8 p.m., $6.

The Salty Dogs bring a bit of classic Bakersfield country to Laman Library, 7 p.m., free. The band also plays White Water Tavern Saturday night.
