Film buff website Ioncinema.com lists Little Rock native Jeff Nichols' next film as its 13th most anticipated feature of 2012.

Says Eric Lavallee: "For film snobs such as myself, you'd need a really valid reason to want to see a film with Reese Witherspoon and Matthew McConaughey toplining. Arkansas born Jeff Nichols is that reason."

So who are some of the other filmmakers whose next flicks weren't as highly anticipated as "Mud"? At No. 26 is Wes Anderson's forthcoming precocious youngster- and emotionally isolated adult-filled quirkfest "Moonrise Kingdom." Quentin Tarantino's next fun-filled revenge romp "Django Unchained" came in at No. 16, while "Inside Llewyn Davis," the Coen brothers' biopic about Greenwich Village folkie Dave Van Ronk was No. 14 on Ioncinema's list.

You've got to figure that a band from frozen-ass Winnipeg is just gonna be way gnarlier and tougher than a band from some sun-kissed tropical clime where people wear tank tops and flip-flops year-round.
