Elie Wiesel will speak and sign books at the Walton Arts Center Wednesday as part of the University of Arkansas's Distinguished Lecture Series. Doors open at 6 p.m., and though it's free to get in, you'll need a ticket, which will be given out at the door. There will be seating for 1,100, with some additional overflow seating with audio and video will be available. Best get there early.

The human rights activist and Nobel Prize winner's Holocaust memoir "Night" is one of the most harrowing depictions of the atrocity ever written. Wiesel survived both Auschwitz and Buchenwald, though his mother, father and younger sister did not.
