More weekend music: Same as it Ever Was, John Michael Montgomery, WideFrame and more

Here are a few more live music goings-on for this weekend.

Friday night:

Talking Heads tribute act Same as it Ever Was plays an 18-and-older show at Stickyz, 9 p.m., $6.

After Eden plays Fox And Hound, 10 p.m., $5.

Handmade Moments are at Flying Saucer, 9 p.m., $3.

Cornerstone Pub has a huge night of hip-hop, with The OD 13, including Da Saw Squad, Shea Marie, Doe Boi, Kwestion, Rah Howard, Big Swoll, A.G. Dynamite and Dubbspin and Jason the Hater, both out of Memphis, with DJ Silky Slim on the turntables, 9 p.m., $10, ladies $5 before 11 p.m.

Jason Campbell & Singletree take to the stage at Denton's Trotline, 9 p.m.

Saturday night:

Country giant John Michael Montgomery plays Juanita's, with opening acts Indian Rodeo and Audrey Dean Kelly, 8 p.m., $25 adv., $30 d.o.s.

WideFrame, Who It Be, Lil Spade, T-Scott, AyeTellem J.T. and Lil Dre play Clear Channel Metroplex, 9 p.m., $15-$25.

Shannon Boshears plays Markham Street Grill And Pub, 8:30 p.m., free.

Rip Van Shizzle plays Thirst n' Howl, 9 p.m., free.
