Dinner & Bikes is a month-long bike tour of the south, put on by some west coast cyclers/creative types, and tonight, these folks will be serving up vegan food, chatting about bicycling and hawking their wares in Little Rock, at 518 W. 9th Street. Five bucks gets you dinner (served at 7 p.m. sharp) and access to the talk.

And this is no amateur cooking! Joshua Ploeg is a vegan chef working in L.A., with a published cookbook to his name. Tonight he'll be selling copies of what the event's website touts as "his controversial raw food zine, So Raw it's Downright Filthy." The other organizers, Joel Biel and Elly Blue, run a small publishing company and makes documentaries, and write about biking on the 'net and in print, respectively. Which means, these are some interesting folks, and they'll probably have great stuff to say (just sayin'...)
