The Arkansas Repertory Theater today opened a photographic exhibit, "Three Decades of Set Design: Mike Nichols at The Rep," commemorating the designer's 30 years with the theater. The exhibit features photos of designs Nichols created for more than 20 productions, among them "Lips Together Teeth Apart," "The Grapes of Wrath," "To Kill a Mockingbird," "The Glass Menagerie," "Best Little Whore House in Texas," "West Side Story," "Fences" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Nichols, who joined the Rep in 1982 and received a Governor's Arts Award for Individual Artist in 1999, has also designed sets for Playhouse on the Square in Memphis; New Stage Theatre in Jackson, Miss.; The Victoria Theatre in Dayton, Ohio; the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Pittsburgh’s City Theatre and New American Theatre in Rockford, Ill.

The exhibition is open before and after performances at The Rep.
