  • Cody Belew released a new video with singer Meghan Linsey.

Beebe native and "The Voice" contestant Cody Belew has a new video for "Baby Get Out," a duet he co-wrote with singer Meghan Linsey and producer Tyler Cain.

It's a gem of forlorn, lovesick pop with production that's by turns icy and minimal, soaring and anthemic, allowing both singers to show off their respective vocal ranges. Check out the video after the jump.

And speaking of Cody Belew videos, how would you like to be in one yourself? This Saturday from 2-4 p.m., Belew will be filming the video for his new tune "Say Love" at Heifer Village in downtown Little Rock and you can be in it if you'd like to. The gift shop at Heifer will be selling "Say Love" T shirts for participants to wear during the shoot.

Belew wrote the song just for Heifer, and will be donating 100-percent of the song's proceeds to the nonprofit global hunger relief organization. It goes on sale on iTunes Monday, April 1.

You've got to figure that a band from frozen-ass Winnipeg is just gonna be way gnarlier and tougher than a band from some sun-kissed tropical clime where people wear tank tops and flip-flops year-round.
