We welcome you back to a little feature we like to call Food Feedback Friday. If you’re just now joining us, this is the portion of the program where you take control, you call the shots, and you share with the world what’s good, bad, beautiful, and boring. Share with your fellow Arkansans a few helpful tips regarding some of your favorite dining establishments or give us some insight into some of the exciting developments around the Natural State.
Last week on Food Feedback Friday, Mcmm praised the raw-milk cheddar burger at White Water Tavern, stating “I loved the liberal use of traditional burger seasoning,” but “the fries were my favorite part of the experience.” Big Fun declared the Pantry Pie from The Pantry to be “the best, tastiest food value in the city…a huge crock of savory, tender beef stew topped with mashed potatoes, sheep-herder’s pie style.” Raven enjoyed his “first pepperoni pizza from the mobile pizza operation Pizzeria Santa Lucia…perfectly crisp and the crust was the perfect thickness.” (I might mention here, you can read more about Pizzeria Santa Lucia in this week’s print copy of The Times.) Slow yeti enjoyed the chef-chosen sashimi plates at Hanaroo and a ribeye from H.A.M., while Sammy elected to snag some sausages from the Hillcrest butcher shop, notably the Greek lamb sausage, which sounds divine, does it not? Lastly, Joel confesses his love for the chicken fried steak from the Capital Bar and Grill and also got some insight into the changes coming to Vieux Carre.
Now it’s your turn to share what you’re eating this week! We absolutely love to hear from you, so please spill the beans.
