This week's work marking the Arkansas Arts Center's 50th anniversary is "Noah's Ark (After the Deluge)", an 1858 charcoal and chalk on sandpaper by Adaline French. The work was purchased in 1992 from the Tabriz Fund of the Arkansas Arts Center Foundation.

Denise Woods, Arts Center human resources manager, selected the work for the "Fifty Works Fifty Weeks Fifty Years" exhibit in the atrium.
