Aladdin Kabab closes

Posted By on Sat, Aug 31, 2013 at 8:31 AM

It's been a time of upheaval in Little Rock food, some good and some bad. Add to the bad list the closure of Aladdin Kabab, the Persian/Mexican fusion restaurant off of Rodney Parham Road that I first reviewed last year. I thought at the time that it was going to be tough for the restaurant to gain traction given its anonymous location and the fact that Little Rock has some pretty well-established names in both Middle-Eastern and Mexican cuisine. The closure is a shame, though, because while the Mexican food at Aladdin was merely adequate, the kebabs were always top notch: well-seasoned, slightly charred from the grill — just delicious. Best of luck to all who were involved with Aladdin.
