Well, Amy Edgington isn't edgy, though her collages are out of the mainstream, and Byron Werner is more graphic master than goofy. But "Edgy and Goofy" is the name of their exhibit that opens tomorrow, Sept. 7, at Gallery 360, at 900 S. Rodney Parham Road, a show the Gallery 360 blog cleverly calls a "collision of cut-ups." Edgington cuts and combines images to create a primordial world; Werner uses punched and cut papers and foils to create portraits and mandalas. There will be a reception from 6-9 p.m. tomorrow night featuring the "sonic tapestry," the blog says, of Rural War Room (Werner and Donavan Suitt) along with the art.
