Opening tonight at Greg Thompson: Peters, Dunlap, Linton and more

Paint Box celebrates its first year anniversary.

Greg Thompson Fine Art in Argenta is showing works by Sammy Peters, Bill Dunlap, Henri Linton, Robyn Horn, Shelia Cotton, Dolores Justus and, in the private viewing room, Donald Roller Wilson, Carroll Cloar, Thomas Hart Benton, George Luks, Charles Burchfield, Dale Nichols, Louis Freund and Nicholas Brewer in "The South's Going to Do It Again!" exhibit opening today. The gallery will be open 5-8 p.m. for the Argenta ArtWalk. 

Paint Box Gallery celebrates its one-year anniversary at Argenta ArtWalk tonight. The gallery is now offering prints from the Rogers Photo Archive Collection of celebrities from Secretariat to Elvis. (Also: Rogers will talk about the archive at the Times' Festival of Ideas tomorrow, Sept. 21, 4 p.m. Heifer International.) Paint Box is also showing work by Anne K. Lyon, Tad Price, Phil Leonard, Maura Miller, Dan Bowe and Ali Stinespring.
