Real-life robots — which sounds like an oxymoron, but by which I mean technology in the real world — are coming to the Museum of Discovery Saturday, Oct. 12, when "Robots and Us" opens.

The interactive exhibit will let visitors direct light-sensitive robots through mazes, experiment with walking machines and compete with a computer-generated character named Lena. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 adults, $8 kids 12 and under, free to members and babies 1 and under.

The exhibit runs through Jan. 26.
