Nine artists are coming together for a one-day show and sale to benefit for Art Connection, the non-profit after-school and summer visual arts program for high school students that focuses on careers in the arts.

Organizer Matt McLeod and fellow artists Dominique Simmons, Tod Swiecichowski, Barbara Satterfield, Stephen Cefalo, Julie Holt, David O'Brien, Angela Davis Johnson and Shannon Rogers are contributing a part of the proceeds from the sale of their work to Art Connection. The show will include paintings, pastels, photogravure prints, sculpture and earthenware.

The show is 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Art Connection, 204 E. Fourth Street in North Little Rock. It's an art show helping artists — the best kind of art auction.
