Food Feedback Friday: on the road edition

Posted By on Sat, Mar 8, 2014 at 8:05 AM

We'll folks, I'm out of town this weekend—exploring the wonders of Big D. (This trip includes visits to my beloved Cane Rosso for Neapolitan pizza...pictured above, Tim Byres' Smoke, Beard-nominated chef John Tesar's new baby, Spoon, and probably a jaunt to home of extraordinarily good TX BBQ, Pecan Lodge.)

Anyways...having left my laptop at home and having bolted out of Little Rock before I could write up food feedback Friday, I'm now writing this from my iPhone. Excuse typos, etc., but the show must go on.

You know the deal. Tell us what you're eating and what you thought about it.

Add-on from Michael: Tomorrow, March 9, will be the last day to get your pictures in for the photo contest. We'll be announcing the winners next week and holding a vote on Facebook. Submit your pics to!

  • Food Feedback Friday: The "We need your vote!" edition know the drill with Food Feedback. Tell us what you're eating this week and what you thought about it. I love to hear all the suggestions and I'm frequently looking back through your recommendations to determine my next meal. So share away! Happy weekend, y'all.

  • Looking in on the new Le Pops, now in the Heights

Le Pops is a wonderful addition to the Heights neighborhood. Laurie Harrison is incredibly dedicated to her product, she still works here 7 days a week and is constantly experimenting in the kitchen to develop new flavors. Check them out the next time you need a cool down.
