Ceramist Gayle Batson will show her work at Claytime Gallery/Studio, 417 Main, NLR, today through May 9. Reception for "Chrysalis" is tonight, 7-9 p.m. at the gallery, 417 Main St.

Batson uses sawdust and pit-fired porcelain to make her work. I apologize for the tiny picture here provided by the Argenta Arts District website; you'll just have to go to the opening to see the work yourself!

Batson has been on faculty at the Arkansas Arts Center and her work is in the Arts Center's permanent collection.
