NYU art professor Judith Schwartz, the curator of the Arkansas Arts Center's "InCiteful Clay" exhibition of what you might call socially-conscious ceramics, will give a talk on the exhibition at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 1.

Schwartz is the author of "Confrontational Ceramics." The event is free for members; $10 for non-members and starts with a reception at 5:30 p.m. The gallery will remain open until 8 p.m. for visitors to see the show after the talk.
