New song from BLACK PARTY, 'Doomsday'

Malik Flint, the young Little Rock rapper and producer who has been around for a few years trying things out, recording with a live band (as Flint Eastwood) and under his own name, seems to be coming into his own lately. As a beatmaker, he's contributed heavily to releases by his friends (most notably Kari Faux, but also S.L. Jones, Lo Thraxx and others), and he's also a central figure in the Natural State of Mind crew that organizes the Trill Clinton and Good Vibes showcases, giving Little Rock hip-hop a sense of youthful energy and community it hasn't had for a minute. Now he's changed his name to BLACK PARTY, and has been issuing great stuff in short-form (never over two minutes long).

"Doomsday" is his latest (released last night), a teaser for the forthcoming real thing: "When I drop a tape it's gonna feel like doomsday." I hope he's right. Also check out "Untitled" below, which I think was made as a video demo but which is kinda great.
