The Arkansas sculptor who made this piece (“Final Tribute to Stradivarius”) will have his work featured at a Friday reception. Guess the artist and I’ll tell you where the reception is.

UPDATE:

Debra Wood, erstwhile gallery owner and now events and exhibits manager at Laman Public Library, swiftly and properly identified the sculptor as Bryan Massey Sr. He’ll be the guest artist at Art Group Arkansas’s “Summer Evening Out” reception from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Massey is professor of art at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and was named the Governor’s Artist of the Year in 2006.
