Arts angel John Gaudin's new Argenta Gallery, at 413 Main St. in downtown North Little Rock, will hold an opening reception tonight from 6 to 8 p.m., celebrating both the gallery's opening and its inaugural show, work by Fayetteville artist George Dombek. Eye Candy announced the opening of the new gallery a couple of weeks ago.

The Dombek exhibit, "Arkansas Barns and Earlier Work," runs through Sept. 30. All the proceeds from sales from the Dombek and remaining shows this year will go to the Arts Connection, the after-school non-profit arts organization for North Little Rock High School students that Gaudin helped found.
