Specialty grocer Whole Foods Market has confirmed that their new location at 501 Bowman will open for business on February 18 at 8 a.m. I've been promised more details about the grand opening festivities as they become available — and given Whole Foods' general flair for samples and live music, it's sure to be a party.

The new store will measure 34,000 square feet. The current location of Whole Foods at 10700 Rodney Parham will close for good on January 16 Update: I received word about an hour after I posted this that the correct date is February 16 for the Rodney Parham closing. No word yet if a new tenant for that location is in the works.
