You've read here about chef Matthew McClure's nomination for a second James Beard award for his offerings at 21c Hotel's The Hive restaurant. You know The Hive was the 2014 winner of the Best New Restaurant award in our Readers' Choice issue. You've always wanted to travel to Bentonville to eat there, right?

Now, on SaturdayMay 2, not only will the Arkansas Times take you to The Hive for dinner, we'll first satisfy your appetite for art at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which has a terrific temporary exhibit of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, Mark Rothko, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Andy Warhol, Paul Gaugin, Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O'Keeffe, Eduard Vuillard, Henri Rousseau and other other masterworks from the Albright-Knox Gallery in New York. The exhibition has been getting rave reviews by viewers who've seen it at other venues and here.

So great food. Great art. A day in May on the wooded and serene 100-acre grounds of Crystal Bridges. Big green penguins at 21c Hotel! And there in back in a day without having to drive. Sound good? You are in luck. The Arkansas Times Art Bus still has seats. We leave at 8 a.m., give you snacks and lunch and libations en route to the museum, then whisk you to dinner at The Hive and then on home again. It's a day long party that will feed your mind, soul and body —  a bargain at $149! Call Kelly Lyles at 501-375-2985 to reserve your seat and make your meal choices.
