OK, let me say right up front that I have never heard of museum hacks, much less subversive ones. But that's how the Arkansas Arts Center describes tonight's "Assembly Required" event from 6-10 p.m. If it's like the Met Museum hacks, what it means is folks will be getting a tour of "30 Americans," an exhibition of work from the Rubell Family collection of contemporary art by African Americans, in a most unusual way. The AAC says the event will include "socializing, music, art and art-making" and adult beverages. Sounds like a lot of fun. $10 for members, $12 for nonmembers. Call 372-4000 if you want to know if I've got this right.
