Looking forward to a weekend in Bentonville

Well, happy Friday to all y'all food lovers! The sun is shining, the birds are singing and my feet are itching for the weekend. Why? Because this weekend I'm headed to Bentonville to visit their farmers market, see some friends I finally got to meet face to face this week at P. Allen Smith's recent blogger event at Moss Mountain Farm—and try to eat as much good food as I can. Of particular interest is a restaurant that Arkansas Food & Farm associate publisher Rebekah Hardin has been raving about for some time, Oven and Tap. Take a minute to check out the pics on Oven and Tap's website—they look amazing.

Bentonville has become a statewide leader in urban renovation, city planning and supporting local food and culture. Special thanks to Nicki Dallison, the manager of the Bentonville Farmers Market, who has been so welcoming to a bunch of Little Rockers trampling around her hills. We feel so welcome every time we head that way, and we'd like to extend the offer of drinks any time folks from the northlands are down here on the river.

I'm going to turn this post over to all of you for our semi-regular-but-not-really Friday food open line. Where y'all eating? What are y'all eating? Just conjugate "to eat" any old way you want and apply it to your life. I appreciate all the comments on our list of lists as well as some lunch suggestions from yesterday's lunch post. I'm looking forward to following up with the things you all want to hear.

Got more of them? Get to typing down there!
