Delicious deals abound in West Little Rock during Little Rock Restaurant Month

So all this week I'm looking at some of the deals available during Little Rock Restaurant Month. How does it work? Just walk into any of these places I've listed here and shout "SAVOR THE CITY" over and over until somebody feeds you. Ok, well, maybe not exactly like that, but if any of you try it, let me know how that works out.

Today we're talking West Little Rock, and keep in mind that these are just some of my favorites—there are plenty more where this came from.

*A.W. Lin's: I think the sushi at this restaurant in the Promenade is one of the most overlooked things in town. Stop overlooking it with a deal that will give diners a half-off sushi item with the purchase of a regular-priced sushi special

*The Butcher Shop: Stop in for a drink and enjoy half-price drinks and appetizers from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. in the bar area. That should get you going for a big slab of beef.

*Capers: One of my favorite spots in town is the quaint restaurant Capers. Their "Savor the City" deal is a $30 prix fixe three-course dinner—and if you've ever eaten there, you know what a steal this is on some delicious food.

*Diane's Gourmet: This deal is a little different, but I think it's worth noting—Diane's is offering a buy-three, get one free on their casseroles all throughout the month. That's some great eats for nights when cooking and going out both seem too much.

*Layla's: With two locations out west now, there's really no reason not to eat at Layla's. But if you needed another reason, how about a gyro sandwich, fries and a drink for only $7.50? That's what I'm talking about.

Have a Savor the City special you think we should all try? Give us a shout down there in the comments!
