1. itsjusbobby - "Do It Tonight"
This is from Little Rock rapper itsjusbobby's latest record, "Anybody But Bobby," which I missed last month. Maybe not the obvious stand-out, but it's moody and confessional and desperate-sounding and good.

2. The Gebharts - "Psychic Glitter"
Here's something from Northwest Arkansas — wine-drunk dream pop in the "Madcap Laughs"-era Syd Barrett mode.

3. Bigwig - "People Watch"
Anglophile drum-machine garage rock from Fayetteville's Kale Ogle and Brian Abel,

4. Slimm Raw ft. Eside Shawty - "Eat Up"
Pine Bluff native ESide Shawty's been embracing his serious side lately, so it's nice to see him do a really dumb and fun sex jam, especially when it's over a weird, throwback, laser-synth bounce beat.

5. PZA - "Lost in the Paradise"
This one is self-explanatory, I think. Deep, heart-murmur bass that's ghostly and slow and dire — from Fayetteville art-rock label Let's Talk Figures

6. Pepperboy & S. Ray ft. Black Kirk Kobang - "Stop Playing With Me"
A new single from Pepperboy and S.Ray's forthcoming tape, the sequel to last year's "Hard 2 Cope." Also see Pepperboy's long-awaited Main Attrakionz collaboration, which we posted a couple of weeks ago.
