A press release from Damgoode Pies today announced that the local pizza chain would be shuttering their carryout/delivery-only location at 10720 Rodney Parham Road on January 31 December 31.  Damgoode's press releases are always pretty cheeky and irreverant and this one is no exception, including this message from Damgoode owner Jeff Trine: "[W]e just opened a wicked sick brewpub in the River Market, yo!"

So what does that mean for you? Well, if you live west of I-430, your Damgoode delivery option is going to be no more, although catering options will still be available throughout central Arkansas. Damgoode hopes you'll all come to their swanky brewpub downtown—what say you, west Little Rockers?

UPDATE: Apparently the first press release had the wrong date. It's December 31. In typically cheeky Damgoode fashion, the correction came with this quote from Trine: "Wow! Just when you think your employees have stopped making mistakes forever, something like this happens. I do love firing people at Christmas time, though. So there’s that.”
