It's 2nd Friday Art Night, which means from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. downtown galleries are welcoming in visitors with new shows, craft beer, wine and music. Here's the lineup:

HISTORIC ARKANSAS MUSEUM: Symbolist paintings by Grace Mikell Ramsey and Jungian-inspired mixed-media sculpture by Luke Amram Knox go on exhibit in a show called "Modern Mythology." Vino's Brewpub is supplying the beer and Mandy McBryde will perform.

BUTLER CENTER GALLERIES: "Bruce Jackson: Cummins Prison Farm," photographs that are part of Jackson's work documenting prisons in Arkansas and Texas, opens. Jackson, the Samuel P. Capen Professor of American Culture at the State University of New York at Buffalo, has been called the "dean of prison folklore" by the Wall Street Journal.

ARKANSAS CAPITAL CORP.: "Subtle and Bold," fabric art by Sofia Gonzalez and paintings by Susan Chambers, both of Little Rock, continues. Tonight,  Gonzalez will give a talk and demonstration about how she makes her dyes.

THE OLD STATE HOUSE MUSEUM:  The 1954 movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" is the museum's Valentine's Day salute. It screens 5:30; soft drinks, beer, pizza and popcorn will be available.
