The Core pub in North Little Rock has called it quits. It announced the closing in a Facebook post on Dec. 27 and in a later post Dec. 31 that invited folks to celebrate the “Brew Year’s Eve” at the Argenta bar before saying goodby. No explanation was given for its closing, and a call to Core Brewing & Distilling Co. in Springdale was answered by a recording. There is no indication that the CORE pub in SoMa is closing; maybe it was siphoning off some of the NLR business.

Core opened in 2010 in Northwest Arkansas and besides Little Rock operates pubs in Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers, Fort Smith, Hot Springs and Fayetteville.
