The Shock Troops of the Property Rights movement

Posted By on Fri, Aug 10, 2007 at 1:20 PM

The shock troops of the property rights movement have been showing their might before the Washington County Quorum Court. Last night they suceeded in preventing building codes being enacted by the court.

Do these folks have no concept of the fact that they are just doing the work of developers and corporations that want to skirt building and safety standards? A lot of property rights movements are funded by those who have abject contempt for those  they persuade to be the public face of the movement.

Yes, for the folks pulling the strings, those who get up before planning commissions and county meetings are just another form of cheap labor.
