Apologies to Walt Eilers . . .

Posted By on Tue, Jul 15, 2008 at 12:48 AM

With word that Walt Eilers is in for the long-haul, one has to wonder where all the speculation originated that he would be the first to drop out of the Fayetteville mayoral race.

Over-eager Coody supporters, perhaps?

In 2004, Cyrus Young was branded by the Coody troops as Fayetteville’s Ralph Nader, a candidate who would siphon votes away from the only true progressive candidate. I wonder the same tactic will be tried this year?

Great reasons to vote Republican?

I have to admit, that I had cause for concern when a friend in California mailed with the heading, “I am voting Republican.”

Her message read:

Did i scare you? see all the good reasons here:

This is really funny stuff.
